Anthony Gross Jr. (born 10 January 1992) is a Collegiate Member of the Beta Phi Chapter at Western Kentucky University.

Early Fraternity Life and Career

Anthony Gross Jr. was inducted into the Beta Phi Chapter of Phi Sigma Pi during the Fall semester of 2011 with the Alpha Iota Initiate class. He was initially recruited by Brother Christopher Storath, and his Big Brother is Jerry Cowart. He went nationally inactive during the Spring 2012 semester while studying abroad in the United Kingdom.

Collegiate Years at Beta Phi

Upon his return from national inactivity, he became the Chapter's Recruitment and Retention Chair during the 2012-2013 school year. He served as Historian on the Beta Phi Executive Board during the 2013-2014 school year. During his activity, he participated in the Panhandle Express Service Run (Spring 2013) and the Bluegrass Regional Conference (Spring 2014). Anthony is known in the Chapter for his grandpa-style sweaters, sarcastic wit, and scholarship.

Other Interesting Facts

Anthony is an English major at Western Kentucky University and has minors in Nonprofit Administration (for which he served as a Refugee Services Intern for the local International Center) and Teaching English as a Second Language. He received the Governor's Scholar Scholarship, the Nancy Hightower Davis Scholarship, maintained a 4.0 GPA (ranking on the President's List), and was voted the Outstanding Major in English Literature for his graduating class (Spring 2014). He is interested in travel, having studied abroad at Harlaxton College in Grantham, England, and applied for a Fulbright scholarship in Rwanda. Other interests include: literature, writing, painting/drawing, hiking, cooking, movies, music (indy, alternative, rap, dubstep).
