The intent behind this proposal is to provide further resources for Chapters and prospective members to ensure all parties are well informed of expectations. This proposal also establishes some National resources to allow the National Office to communicate directly with prospective members.

Chapter Requirements

  • Submit calendar of required Initiate program events prior to the start of rush
    • description of all events with approximate duration
    • schedule of Initiate votes
  • Submit an outline of all requirements for initiates (attendance, test scores)
  • Submit initiate contact information to the office following pinning
  • Chapters shall have all prospective members complete their Form 20A prior to pinning. Any prospective member failing to sign a Form 20A shall be ineligible to continue in the Chapter's Initiate program.
  • Chapters shall submit their Form 20 and 20A by the set date of pinning included in their Initiate program calendar.

Initiate Resources

  • Public calendar of events available on the national site under each chapter's portal
  • Regular communication from the National Office regarding expectations, ant-hazing policy
  • Contact information to report concerns or violations of stated expectations

Parent/Community Resources

  • Public and prominent links to anti-hazing resources and our work to ensure safe environments for prospective members
  • Tie-in to parent club
  • Welcome letter initiates can opt their parents into discussing Phi Sigma Pi
