Early Fraternity Life and Career
Rachel Gutauskas decided to attend The George Washington University after graduating in 2008 from Charlottesville High School. She was decided to rush Phi Sigma Pi in the fall of her sophomore year. She and her fellow members of the Alpha Eta class were inducted on December 5th, 2009.
Collegiate Years at Sample Chapter
Currently, Rachel serves on the Rush committee and is looking forward to welcoming the Alpha Theta's to Phi Sigma Pi!
Bigs and Littles
Rachel Gutauskas' Big is the fabulous Tom Boyles who is currently studying abroad in Hong Kong.
Her Grand-Big is the lovely Alicia Eggen, who graduated in 2009.
Other Interesting Facts
In 2009, Rachel graduated from the George Washington University's Women's Leadership Program for United States and International Politics. She has also been fortunate enough to work for Congressman Tom Perriello on his campaign (where he defeated a well entrenched incumbent by 727 votes) and later in his Congressional office. Currently, she is a member of the Leading Ladies Living and Learning Cohort, the Coordinator of the Mount Vernon Programming Council and an intern at Catalist. Her interests include: drinking sweet tea, watching the West Wing, listening to country music, playing the violin & guitar, watching Arrested Development, dance parties, and watching her new obsession--Dexter.
