Early Fraternity Life and Career
Mitch decided to Temple University because of their reputation as an affordable, multi-faceted state school that provides a quality education. He loved it the first time he came to campus on a tour, and returned for a second tour to be sure it wasn't a "first school visited" illusion. Beginning as a psychology major, he realized that he found psychology to be more of an interest or hobby, so he changed majors to accounting, as he missed doing math but also wanted an engaging and dynamic career. He coincidentally rushed Phi Sigma Pi his first semester as an accounting major in the fall of 2011.
Collegiate Years at Sample Chapter
Mitch was the ICR co-chair under Diana Weiss in the spring of 2012 as his first semester as a brother. He is currently the ICR chair, and was elected to be the vice president for the next term.
National Involvement
Mitch contributed to the Most Traveled Chapter award given to Alpha Lambda for 2011-2012. Along with other brothers, went to Louisiana State University, Michigan State University, and the University of Maryland. A group of brothers that he was not a part of went to the University of Florida, also contributing to the award.
Bigs and Littles
Mitch's Big Brother is Forrest Ridgway, who is now a student of the pharmacy program at Temple University.
Sample Member has 1 Little Brother:
- Little 1, Brendan Hilsey
