Delta Sigma Chapter Meeting
Monday, October 8, 2007

Meeting is called to order at 8:11 by President Lauren Snella.

3. Minutes from September 24 and October 1 read and approved without objection
4. Officer Reports
   1. President
   • Grizzly Rose trip with Delta Rho is Nov 11 - sign up
   • those inducted last semester that didn't receive pins or shingles should get them soon
   • Lauren will email info being an LA for science or math
   1. Vice President
      • overview of student leadership banquet
   2. Secretary
      • email Chelsea about any academic events you attend (brothers need 2 and initiates need one)
   3. Treasurer
      • we made over $1400 for Taste of Colorado
   4. ECA
      • make sure you sign the risk management form
   5. Initiation
      • if you want to be a big tell Carrie, (or if you don't want to be one)
   6. Historian
      • history night will be two weeks from tonight - we will be playing taboo or catchphrase
5. Committee Reports
   1. Fundraising
      • Taste of Co attendance should be on the event progress table soon
   2. Service
      • Trick or Treat for Charity - we need two groups of volunteers, one group to pass out flyers before Halloween and another group to go out Halloween weekend and pick stuff up
   3. Social
      • Haunted Corn Maze on sunday the 14th - meet in lot 436 at 7pm - cost is $16 ($2 coupon is available online)
      • we can possibly get a discount at some haunted houses
      • Across the Universe movie on Thursday and Friday at 29th st theatre at 7pm showing
      • retreat is FREE - oct 20-21 at snow mountain ranch - tell Lauren G if you are coming by Oct 15 (next Monday)
   4. PR
      • we should have price estimates on hoodies by next week
   5. Awards and Scholarship
      • career fair is tomorrow
      • the artist we saw speak at BMOCA could be on the Colbert Report

7. Chapter Business
   1. Eboard has voted to expel Lyla Feinsod, Colin O'Donahgue, and Sara Squires upon non-payment of dues - brothers have one week to appeal to the decision before it is final
