In 1933 the fraternity decided to skip that year's Grand Chapter Conference. Instead they held two region conferences due to economic reasons. The western Conclave was hosted at Delta Chapter in Pittsburg, Kansas and the east Conclave met in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Western Conclave
The split in the Grand Chapter locations is detailed in the 1933 Beta Chapter Annual Newsletter. Those in attendance representing Beta Chapter were;
