Intent: This proposal establishes the scope and timeline for a series of online roundtables.


Proposal

Purpose

The purpose of this proposal is to outline online roundtables, hosted by the National President, to support the Council's initiative.

The roundtables may include, but are not limited to, the following subtopics within the above listed subjects:

  1. National Development Committee peer drafted policy discussions
  2. Conversation with the Executive Director about the roles and differences between the National Council and National Staff teams
  3. Advisory board style discussion to discuss issues from 'at large' Brothers not necessarily affiliated with National Council or national committees
  4. Discussion with NDC working group on inclusion

Timeline

  1. November-July: Engage National Development Committee members in peer drafted policy discussions, holding follow up discussions as necessary to update project progress.
  2. Early 2014: Host an online discussion with the Executive Director
  3. Several dates: Advisory board discussion

Meeting Process:

Meetings will be held online via Google Hangout with up to ten (10) participants total including the host. The discussion with the Executive Director will be streamed live (technology permitting), as well as recorded.
