From PhiSigmaPiWiki

During the spring, SAAC particpiated in the Hershey Bar War again this year against Epsilon Xi.

January 2015: During the month of January, SAAC did not hold an event.

February 2015: February was a service event for SAAC. The Chapter decided to participate in two drives: the Hershey Bar War (see above) and collecting event-sized bubbles for the Bluegrass Region Conference 2015.

March 2015: SAAC got together for a social event to try a new-to-us, local restaurant, Ole Guacamole. We had a fun-filled night with great food, conversation, and general fellowship. We were able to talk about a lot of upcoming events and catch up with everyone.

April 2015: For April's scholarship event, SAAC met for lunch and a meeting and then headed to the Hands On Museum in Johnson City to experience the Our Body - The Universe Within exhibit. SAAC Members were able to learn about the human anatomy, the process to make the exhibit possible, and information about blood and organ donation. It was truly a unique experience.

May 2015: SAAC did not have an official "event" for May; however, we were able to get together for some fellowship during the Memorial Day holiday at Joanne's house. We enjoyed some great company, food, drink, and of course s'mores! Later in the month, we had an official SAAC meeting to discuss National Convention, our retreat, and other business.

June 2015: For June's social event, we gathered at Sydney's house for a wonderful evening filled with laughter and delicious fondue! Chris and Sydney treated us to a fabulous cheese fondue and both white and chocolate, peanut butter chocolate fondues. We all left happy, full, and excited for the upcoming retreat!

July 2015: In celebration of our 3rd Founders' Day, SAAC traveled to Franklin, North Carolina for a weekend retreat. Nine of the Members were in attendance. We had a lot of fun playing Cards Against Humanity, watching Dexter, eating fantastic food planned out and cooked by Chris, and general fellowship. We did have a small scholarship component of the trip that consisted of learning about retirement :).

August 2015: For August's service event, SAAC Members gathered at Cheddar's for an nice dinner and meeting. We had lots of laughs and talked a lot about the upcoming year. For the service portion of the event, SAAC Members brought food and toiletry supplies to donate to Bucky's Pantry, the university's food bank that is already in desperate need of supplies since the school year started.

September 2015: This month was especially exciting for two of SAAC's Members, Ryan Alexander and Jillian Quirante. They were married on September 19, in Johnson City. Most of SAAC were in attendance. It was a day filled with love, fun, food, dancing, and laughter.

October 2015: SAAC took a twist on the idea of scholarship: an applied scholarship event for this month. We traveled to Knoxville, TN and participated in one of the Breakout Knoxville games. They were successful in breaking out (ask us, we have the t-shirts)! Afterwards we went to the Cheesecake Factory for a celebratory lunch.

November 2015: SAAC did not have an official event during the month of November; however, the Chapter went to see the last of the Hunger Games movies together as they have done the past several years.

December 2015: For the final social event of the year, SAAC Members visited Ryan and Jillian's new house in Jonesborough for an evening of fellowship filled with food, fun, and Dirty Santa! The event was a success and it was great to have everyone together for the holiday season.
