Early Fraternity Life and Career
Adam McFarland decided to attend the University of Michigan for the Fall 2007 semester. The decision wasn't a tough one, as Adam had been a Wolverine since his early years. Upon the beginning of his collegiate career, Adam lived in South Quadrangle for the entirety of freshman and sophomore year. Currently, Adam resides on the classy Greenwood Avenue. Adam is a pre-medicine student, studying Cultural Anthropology with a focus in Medical Anthropology, and Microbiology. After graduation in May of 2011, Adam intends to enter the Teach for America corps or participate in a service organization before applying to medical school.
Adam rushed the Beta Alpha chapter of Phi Sigma Pi at the encouragement of friends and accepted his bid for the Fall of 2008 as a sophomore. Adam is a member of the Alpha Eta class, and is currently in his fourth semester of active membership, third as an initiated Brother.
In addition to membership in Phi Sigma Pi, Adam is a brother of Delta Upsilon, a social fraternity on the University of Michigan campus. Adam has also been a member of the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts Student Government for three years, serving as a representative, a member of the Academic Affairs Committee, and the Academic Relations Officer.
