Alice Lee (born 08 March 1987) is an Alumna of the Alpha Theta Chapter (ΑΘ 299) at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She served on the Executive Council (2007-2008) and Executive Board (2008-2009) before graduating in the Spring of 2009.

Early Fraternity Life and Career

Alice, who had previously sworn that Greek life was not for her, first became intrigued by Phi Sigma Pi when she received a personal Rush invitation in the Spring of her Sophomore year at Rutgers University. After attending various Rush events with her friend and colleague Michelle Derer, she decided to become an initiate. She soon after became an Active Member of the Upsilon Class of Alpha Theta in the Spring of 2007 and has been a dedicated Brother of the Fraternity ever since.

Collegiate Years at Alpha Theta Chapter

Alice attended Rutgers University from 2005-2009, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in English. She went on to serve on the Executive Council (2007-2008) and Executive Board (2008-2009) of Alpha Theta Chapter before graduating in the Spring of 2009. She continued her studies at The Graduate School of Education at Rutgers University and graduated with a Master's Degree in English Education in May 2010. She is currently an English teacher at Franklin High School, NJ.

While serving as the Service Chair on the Executive Council, Alice headed various significant service projects within the Alpha Theta Chapter. For Phi Sigma Pi's national philanthropy Teach for America, Alpha Theta conducted a Backpack Drive, sending boxes of new backpacks and school supplies to the national headquarters in Florida. The Chapter also conducted a Thanksgiving Basket Drive, donating dozens of Thanksgiving dinner baskets to the local community of New Brunswick for less fortunate families. For Elijah’s Promise Bag Meal Program, Brothers came together at her own apartment, which she shared with Brothers Victoria Raab and Michelle Derer, and bagged over 100 bag meals to donate to New Brunswick's local soup kitchen Elijah's Promise. The Chapter ran many more service events to benefit the local community of New Brunswick, including a clothing drive, clean-up, and Walk for Literacy, not to mention the first Annual Blood Drive held during Alpha Theta's first Annual AIDS Awareness Week, in which she served on the ad hoc committee.
