| − | Alyssa began attending Lehigh University in the Fall 2008. Though she did hear about Phi Sigma Pi in the spring, she did not rush thinking that any type of greek life would not be for her. Towards the end of that same semester, a brother talked to her more in depth about all that PSP was about. Since she had not found any clubs or organizations that she felt she really belonged to, she became determined to give it a try in the fall.

| − | In the Fall 2009, after attending an info session and rush events, Alyssa fell in love with the organization and was very excited to join. She became one of six initiates to be inducted as brothers for the Rho class. Memorable moments from initiation were my friend getting me into the hallway where I got a full surprise silly string attack by the bid delivery group, writing my notes during interviews without looking at the paper, our fellowship event: capture the flag crossed with paint tag, getting my big [[Katherine Glass-Hardenbergh]], and doing 70 brother interviews over the required 40 beating the previous record.
