Early Fraternity Life and Career

Amanda was born in Upland California and moved to Murfreesboro TN in June of 1997, a month before she turned 7. Other then attending Kindergarten at a Catholic school in California, Amanda has been homeschooled her entire life. She graduated Highschool in 2008 from Gateway Christian Academy. She started attending Middle Tennessee State University in August of 2008 and received a 4.0 her first semester. Because of this, Amanda received an invite to join Phi Sigma Pi National Honors Fraternity. Amanda knew she wanted to be involved in an organization on campus but was still unsure of which to choose and thought this would be a good option. At the RUSH night Amanda met (future Brothers) Courtney Fisher, Leanne Fuller and Emily Ress during a game night. Making these friends with these girls made Amanda want to come back to other events which in turn brought her to Initiation, multiple quizzes, and then Induction on April 13th 2009 as number 394 in the Beta Psi Chapter.

Collegiate Years at Sample Chapter

Service Chair Fall 2009-Spring 2010. Amanda organized donation collections for the Rutherford County Food Bank, and the Domestic Violence Shelter her Fall semester as Service Chair. We also helped fellow Alumna Katie Peachey at the Red Kettle Craft Fair at the Salvation Army.

Alumni Chair Fall 2010 - Amanda Started the first ever, electronic newsletter for their Alumni. She also hosted a very successful Homecoming event where 32 Alumni family and friends attended to enjoy Blue Coast Burrito and some BLUE RAIDER FOOTBALL!!!

Historian Fall 2010-Spring 2011 - We had a "Founders Day" Dinner at Parthenon Grille.

None yet, but Amanda plan on being as involved as she can as an Alumni and being a part of MTAC

National Involvement

• Midsouth Regional Conference in Spring 1020 at Morehead State University
• Grand Chapter and National Convention in August 2010 in Harrisburg PA
