Amber Schewe is a Collegiate Member of the Beta Phi Chapter at Western Kentucky University.

Early Fraternity Life and Career
Amber was inducted into Phi Sigma Pi in the Fall of 2011 with the Alpha Iota Initiate class. She was convinced to attend an information night by Brother D.J. McDonald. At this meetin, she was persuaded to join Phi Sigma Pi. In the Spring of 2014, she went inactive after serving as President the previous term to complete student teaching in her home town.
Collegiate Years at Beta Phi
Amber was the Beta Phi Secretary during the Spring 2012 semester and served as the President on the Executive Board during Fall 2013. During her time as a Brother, she participated in several local events for the Chapter, including BryceMagic (a magic show Beta Phi hosted), Anti-hazing Campaign, and various other smaller events throughout Bowling Green and WKU. Amber is known in Beta Phi as the first female president since the 2008 restructure and for her early bedtimes and addiction to "Sims."
Bigs and Littles
Amber's Big Brother is Katie Knipp, who is a Beta Phi Alumnus (Spring 2013) working at a clothing store while she searches for a position in Elementary Education.

Other Interesting Facts
Amber's major is Elementary Education. Her hobbies and interests include: softball, basketball, playing "Sims," working with children, interacting with animals, and drawing. She received Beta Phi's Leadership Award two semesters in a row (Spring and Fall 2013).
