Andrew Harris is an Alumni Member of Alpha Sigma Chapter (Chapter roll #218) at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU).

Before the Fraternity

Andrew began at VCU in Fall 2005 as a Computer Science student. He pursued membership in his second semester with the VCU Chapters of Theta Tau Professional Engineering Fraternity and Phi Sigma Pi. He was part of the Pi Initiate Class of Spring 2006, and was inducted at the conclusion of the Spring 2006 semester.

During Active Membership

Andrew was appointed Brotherhood Chair in his first semester of Active Membership following a mid-semester vacancy for the position. He held the role of Webmaster. He was elected to Recruitment Advisor for the 2007-2008 academic year, and helped develop the role of Public Relations Advisor during this time. He was elected to Parliamentarian for the 2008-2009 academic year, serving also as ex officio Chapter Standards and Risk Management chair, until graduation in May 2009.

Alumni Years

Andrew pursued postgraduate study in Computer Science in Fall 2009 at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He served as Alumni Advisor to Epsilon Zeta Chapter.

National Involvement

Andrew was part of a road trip in Fall 2008 to Delta Chi Chapter their annual kickball tournament. He visited Gamma Psi Chapter in Spring 2008 for that year's Capitol Region conference.
