Early Fraternity Life and Career
Ashley Ericksen decided to attend Louisiana State University in the Fall of 2006. She is majoring in Chemical Engineering and plans to graduate in the spring of 2012. Ashley decided to rush Phi Sigma Pi in the Fall of 2007 and was initiated into the fraternity as a member of the Psi class later that semester. During her time in the initiation period, Ashley served as class Secretary.
Collegiate Years at Gamma Theta Chapter
Upon her induction into the fraternity, Ashley decided to get involved by running and holding the following positions within the Gamma Theta Chapter:
- Psi Class Secretary (Fall 2007)
- Publicity Chair (2008-2009)
- Interchapter Relations Officer (2009-2010)
- Service Chair (Spring 2011)
- President (2011-2012)
National Involvement
As an active participant in Phi Sigma Pi, Ashley has traveled to the 2008 National Convention in Nashville,TN and also 2009 National Convention in Louisville, KY, serving as the Grand Chapter Alternate. At the 2011 National Convention she served as the Grand Chapter Delegate. Since her induction into the Fraternity She has participated in every Southern Conference and in January 2010, she also participated in the Alternative Break Project in Atlanta, GA with 29 other brothers from all across the United States.
Her involvement as Inter-chapter Relations chair also brought her to Brother Chapters all across the country, including Alpha Beta's annual Volleyball Tournament, and several tailgating events with fellow SEC School Chapters.
Bigs and Littles
Ashley Ericksen's big brother was Anothony Drummond (resigned) of the Chi class.
She has 4 littles: Kristen Almerico (Alpha Gamma),Toni Borel (Alpha Delta),Katherine Bruner (Alpha Epsilon, Aimee Landry (Alpha Epsilon)
