Early Fraternity Life and Career
Avery Davis joined Phi Sigma Pi as a sophomore at UNT. She found out about Phi Sigma Pi through her Big, Ellen Doss, whom she met at a get-together thrown by a mutual friend. She found her way to UNT due to the merchandising degree program they offer. Her mother is an alumni of the University of North Texas and frequently visits the campus.

Avery Davis has been with Phi Sigma Pi since Spring 2011 and will be an Alumni of the Delta Kappa Chapter when she graduates in August of 2013.
Avery's favorite part of the PSP tripod is scholarship: "I like scholarship because I always get to expand my knowledge base and help others. It's a living and learning opportunity." Her most memorable PSP moments are the end of semester banquets.

Avery Davis is currently a senior at the University of North Texas double majoring in Digital Retailing and Merchandising with a minor in Business. She also holds a certification in Driving Revenue via Website Functionality administered by Forrester Research, Inc. Avery held several leadership positions and worked part-time during her college career and still maintained a 3.74 GPA.
Avery is working at Haggar Clothing Company as an intern in e-commerce where she interacts with multiple aspects of the business: inventory management, promotions, social media, e-mail marketing, negotiating affiliate offers, internal search, user acceptance testing (UAT) and copyrighting all through Haggar's virtual channel, Haggar.com.
Avery studied abroad in Hong Kong and China last summer and got to see the apparel supply chain firsthand through tours of apparel production factories, textile mills, and the Yantian International Container Terminals.
