Becca McRae (born 6 August 1987) is an Alumna of the Gamma Mu Chapter (ΓΜ 493) at Central Michigan University.

Early Fraternity Life and Career

Becca transferred to Central Michigan University after spending 2 horrible years at Oakland University. She hated the atmosphere at Oakland and Central was such a welcome change. Becca was inducted into the Omega class, Fall of 2008 with 15 other absolutely amazing people and she loves them. She graduated in Spring of 2010.

Collegiate Years at Gamma Mu Chapter

Becca decided to rush so that she could meet new people and become more involved on campus. The initiation process was intense but she couldn't be happier with her decision to rush! She is a little sad that her active membership will be for such a short time but she is looking forward to everything that is to come. She has the best Big ever and is so glad that she has gotten to know so many amazing people through Phi Sigma Pi. She is truly proud to call herself a Brother. She was the Vice President of her initiate class and served on the Scholarship and Fundraising committees through out her time in Phi Sigma Pi. Spring of 2010 she was the Parliamentarian/SGA representative for the Gamma Mu chapter and as part of her duty she was a member of the Fellowship committee.

National Involvement

• Becca is not currently involved at the national level but hopes to change that as she becomes more familiar with the Fraternity.

Bigs and Littles

Becca's Big Brother is Jessica Hayward, who went alumni in Spring of 2010 and is absolutely amazing.

Her first Little is Becca Payne, who rushed with the Alpha Beta class. Her second Little is Jake Schoenknecht, who rushed with the Alpha Gamma class.

Her Grand Big, Beth LaForce, went alumni in Fall 2009 and Becca has an 'aunt', Anna Pulcer that she gained from her induction class.

Other Interesting Facts

• Becca majored in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Chemistry and was accepted into Vanderbilt University's Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in the Biomedical and Biological Sciences, in Nashville. Were she hopes to specialize in Microbiology and parasitology. She graduated as a McNair Scholar and conducted her research for the program in the summer of 2009.
• Becca has an older sister, Jessica (she is 14 months older than Becca), whom she will always love no matter how much she denies it ;) and a younger brother, Michael (4 years younger), who hasn't physically been littler than her in 4 years.
• Becca loves her family and is really close to her mom, Teela. Her dad, Tim, is one of the smartest people she knows (and he didn't go to college). Her parents have been happily married for 30 years. Her father is from New Zealand and he lived there until he decided to come to Brandon, MI for a foreign exchange program his senior year of high school where he met her mom.
• Becca is from southeastern Michigan and lives on a horse farm. She graduated with a class of 295 people and is glad that she didn't go to a larger school.
• Becca currently lives in Nashville, TN where she is hoping to become more active in the formation of an Alumni Chapter in the middle Tennessee area.
