Beta Nu Muses

History
The Beta Nu Muses are descended from Erin Boschert, a member of the Alpha Epsilon pledge class. During the Fall 2011 Big-Little event, it was decided that a tie that held the lineage together was a love of the arts and of Chapter spirit. A crest was designed, using elements of the Shirley family crest and the name has held ever since. As an informal mascot, the Muses use their namesake from the Disney animated Hercules, but they have been known to appear photoshopped around the world.
In Spring 2012, the Muses held the first lineage-sponsored informal event, the Muses' Movie Mayhem, where Brothers and Initiates were encouraged to relax from a day of heavy prelims by watching the Princess Bride and enjoying delicious food.
