Early Fraternity Life and Career
Blake Thelen attends the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and loves to bare the prestige of a Husker. As a freshmen he had little thoughts on what he wanted to do with his life. He declared a major in Political Science and History. Finding this was not the career path for him he switched his major to secondary education. However, he found little interest in teaching and realized that teaching is a real job that takes a great deal of patience and malevolence (he hated the idea of giving people work to do). Felling out of place he decided to get involved on campus, joining University Ambassadors and Phi Sigma Pi National Honors Fraternity.
His involvement helped him meet people around campus and finally chose a career path that fit his creative and go-getting personality, advertising.
