Brian Broderick (born 8 July 1991) is an Alumni Member of Epsilon Tau (ET 90) at Villanova University. He has held multiple positions within the Chapter, most notably Vice President.

Early Fraternity Life and Career
Brian attended Villanova University beginning in Fall 2010. He joined Phi Sigma Pi in Spring 2011, his Freshman year, concurrent with the Chapter's reactivation. He is a member of the chapter's Gamma Class, and was appointed Parliamentarian for the chapter's colonial semester.
Collegiate Years at Epsilon Tau
Brian has been extremely active in Epsilon Tau since its reactivation, and has played a crucial role in the chapter's success. He served as Epsilon Tau's first Parliamentarian during its initial semester, and continued to hold the role during the Fall 2011 semester. He was also appointed to serve as the chapter's first-ever Recruitment Advisor during that semester, recruiting what became the Chapter's 16-member Delta Class. After losing bids for President and Vice President at the close of the Fall 2011 semester, Brian chose to step down from both of his Executive Board positions to serve on the Inter-Chapter Relations Committee, of which he was elected Chair. As ICR Chair, Brian brought the Epsilon Tau chapter onto the Inter-Chapter scene for the first time, and Epsilon Tau participated in six Inter-Chapter events during Brian's semester-long tenure as ICR Chair.
At the end of that semester, Brian won a special election to fill a vacancy at the Vice President position. He was re-elected to the position in regular Executive Board elections at the close of the Fall 2012 semester. As Vice President, Brian worked with the chapter's committee chairs to expand the chapter's horizons on all fronts. He also created three new committees (Initiation, Spirit, and Alumni) during his tenure as Vice President in order to meet the chapter's growing needs.
Brian served as Epsilon Tau's Grand Chapter Delegate at the 2011 National Convention in Washington, D.C., as well as at the 2012 National Convention in Orlando, Florida. He also served as Epsilon Tau's Grand Chapter Alternate Delegate at the 2013 National Convention in Philadelphia.
Brian is the recipient of Epsilon Tau's first-ever Chapter Service Key, and was also named Villanova's Male Student Leader of the Year for his work with Phi Sigma Pi.

Other Collegiate Involvement
Brian was very active on Villanova's campus. In addition to his heavy commitment to Phi Sigma Pi, he also served as the Executive Director of the Villanova History Society for three years, Co-President of the VU College Republicans for one year, a service-site leader for the Community Outreach of Villanova (COV) program, an Ambassador and Peer Advisor for the Villanova Honors Program, an active member of Villanova's Pastoral Musicians, a teacher through the Breakthrough program of Greater Philadelphia, and an employee of Villanova Dining Services.
Despite his extensive extracurricular involvement, Brian was been able to maintain an impeccable academic track record. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a 3.85 GPA, was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, was an active member of the Honors Program, and majored in History, Political Science, and Honors (as well as minored in Education). For his Senior Thesis, he wrote an 81-page paper (part of a longer-term 300 page book project) on the role of economic policy under the Hoover Administration on the length and severity of the Great Depression.
Post-Graduate Life
Brian is a member of Teach For America's 2014 Corps. He teaches Secondary Mathematics in Oklahoma City.
Brian was a candidate for the 2014-2016 National Council, running for the position of Vice President of Philanthropy Development. The election was ultimately won by Patrick Herron

Brian is a native to the Philadelphia area, and is a die-hard Eagles fan. His interests include politics, football, food, sleep, comedy shows and movies, country music, and meeting new people.
