Caitlin (Cat) Canney (born 28 February 1988) is an Alumna of Alpha Sigma Chapter (ΑΣ 229) at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Early Fraternity Life and Career
Collegiate Years at Alpha Sigma Chapter
After being inducted, Cat became chair of the newly-created Alumni Relations Committee for the fall 2007 and later spring 2008 semesters. She was elected Initiate Advisor for Fall 2008 and highly enjoyed her time with the Phi Class. She was Nationally Inactive for 3 semesters (Spring 2009-Spring 2010) while studying abroad. Upon returning to Alpha Sigma for the Fall 2010 semester, she was elected Chapter Secretary.

Cat wore a dress made of pink and green duct tape to Alpha Sigma's semi-formal on December 4, 2010. She won the Best Dressed Female award. The dress was made by AΣ Brother Emily Dutton.
