Delta Alpha - Career Planning
Event Type: Career Planning Discussions

Event Summary: The chapter was looking for an event to involve their Alumni when the chapter was young with few Alumni. The asked all of their Alumni to either come back to speak to graduating seniors in the chapter in their respective major. They talked about lessons they learned after graduation and provided advice on how best to succeed. For Alumni who could not return they asked them to write up their suggestions on everything from where to look or job listings, to whether Brothers should consider graduate school for their major to basic intro job 101 lessons. The event also provided a new way for undergraduates and Alumni to network.

Event Summary: Have chapter members present research findings or thesis papers to the chapter. This allows the chapter to better understand what fellow Brothers are doing in their professional development and provides networking opportunities for younger Brothers in similar career paths.
