Purpose?

what is the purpose of the region category? I understand the specific regions being categories (such as East Region Category), but am curious as to why the broader category 'region' {Duff 17:17, 21 March 2007 (EDT)}

Just a category for categories. If someone wants to find all pages relating to "Regions" there is no quick way to do it without a "Regions" category. Sometimes, you may not be sure which region you're looking for--this gives you all at once. Or if you're on one region page, say "East Region" and want to get to the other regions, you can follow the category link at the bottom of the page. FreshBoy 17:21, 21 March 2007 (EDT)

How can I edit this?

I need to edit this to include the Pacific Coast Region so it links back correctly. We will have six chapters in this region on Friday!  :)
