Chad McCauley (born 19 March 1990) is an Collegiate Member of Kappa Chapter (Chapter roll #) at California University of Pennsylvania.

Early Fraternity Life and Career

Chad enrolled at California University of Pennsylvania in Fall 2008 after graduating from Trinity High School in Washington, Pennsylvania. Along with Phi Sigma Pi, he has been involved in several other Honors organizations, the Economics Club, and the Accounting and Finance Clubs. He has served as a representative for the Student Honors Advisory Board, an envoy for the Senior Gift Drive, a New Student Orientation Leader, and mentor for the Peer Mentoring Program. It was after meeting some Brothers of Phi Sigma Pi at an information meet night that he became interested in rushing. Chad was invited to Rush Phi Sigma Pi in Spring 2010. He received a bid, and after a successful Initiation Process serving as Initiate Class Secretary he was inducted with the Alpha Upsilon Kappa Class.

Collegiate Years at Kappa Chapter

At the end of the Spring 2010 semester, Chad was elected as the Chapter's Treasurer, a position that he held for a year. During this year, Chad was head of the Service/Fundraising Committee. It was his responsibility to maintain dues contracts to make sure that Brothers were turning in their dues in a timely manner. It was also his goal to work out payment schedules for any Brother who owed delinquent dues. While in this position, Chad tried to coordinate service events with other campus organizations. For example, Kappa Chapter now participates in a Tie & Talk with the Women's Center. Here, Brothers donate children's books and stuffed animals and work on making blankets for children in need.

In Spring 2011, Chad received his first Little, Diane Cywinski.

In Fall 2011, Chad decided to go inactive to concentrate on graduation requirements and his Honors Thesis. After a very successful Rush, he decided it was important to remain as active as possible to help Initiates grow in their love for Phi Sigma Pi. He got two Little Brothers this semester, Lora DeVenzio and Mike Hackenberg.

During his undergraduate years as a Brother, Chad received the superlative "Most Likely to Randomly Burst Into Song".

He is set to graduate summa cum laude on December 17, 2011.
