Chester L. Jacoby (October 29, 1910 - Feb. 10, 2010) is an Alumni Member of Alpha Chapter (A #162) at University of Central Missouri then known as Central Missouri State Teachers College.
Early Fraternity Life and Career
Chester graduated from a one-room school then attended Training High School, graduating as valedictorian in 1927. He graduated with honors from Central Missouri State Teachers College in 1931. While a student, he was a member of Sigma Tau Gamma and honor fraternities, Theta Alpha Phi, Pi Kappa Delta and Phi Sigma Pi.
Alumni Years to Present
- Superintendent of schools at Centerview from 1933 to 1937
- Missouri state trooper and sergeant of the Missouri State Highway Patrol Headquarters in Jefferson City
- Developed the Missouri State Highway Patrol's safety division
- Special agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (1941-1969)

Chester returned to Alpha Chapter after the reactivation and participated in the chapter's first Alumni Dinner / Family Day / Gift Basket Auction in 2001
