Combining Events
For example, for your Chapter’s next social event, instead of the regular movie night, watch a controversial movie and then debate about it afterwards. Not only will you get to enjoy watching a movie with your Brothers (fellowship) you will also learn a lot about other people’s viewpoints (scholarship).
Or, if your next service project is an AIDS benefit, ask someone from your local health clinic to come visit a Chapter meeting and discuss AIDS. Not only will it energize the Brothers to continue raising money for the benefit (leadership) it will also teach them about a very serious virus that affects us all (scholarship).
-Organize a pot-luck dinner (fellowship) and ask Brothers to share their favorite ethnic recipes (scholarship). -Hold a Valentine making party (fellowship) and deliver the cards to a local senior-citizens’ home (Leadership). -Host a book club (Scholarship) and ask Brothers to bring a book to donate to a local school (Leadership).
