  • Creating biographical pages for National Council members, past and present

Guidelines

Please feel free to add projects as you see fit and join in tackling some of the projects as a participant. As projects are completed and reviewed please remove them from the Open Tasks section below.

Open tasks

1. Bios

We want to provide basic biographical pages for all National Council members. Basic biographical information should include their positions, years in office as well as their collegiate chapter. The following offices need to have biographies checked and/or created for their members;

2. Scholar's Province and Past Council

The following information from the Scholars Province may need to be added to the various biographical pages. Once it has been added please remove it from the list.

* War Years, pages 19-22 Death clamed Beecher Flanagan in 1950 and Sanders P. McComsey in 1955.

Joseph Torchia One of the two most dedicated National Officer Was employed at his alma mater as an associate professor of education from 1946 to 1975. Did extensive tutoring, including teaching speed reading to individuals and business groups.

In the beginning of 1980, alumni and undergraduates began to assert their influce on the fraternity by serving as National Officers. Robert Helm established this precedent in 1980 and was followed by David Patti, Robert Zalimeni, Michael Hosey, and Kenneth Delorge. This trend was solidified in 1984 with the election of Steven DiGuiseppe and Linda Wilson.

Long Range Planning Committee

Jeffrey Johnson and Steven DiGuiseppe was among with others at the Long Range Planning Committee did the task of ensuring Phi Sigma Pi's future by reactivating chapters that were inactive.
