Early Fraternity Life and Career
Cynthia attended the School of Business and Management at Townview Magnet Center in Dallas, Texas where she graduated with Highest Honors and Valedictorian. She decided to become an Aggie at NMSU after being offered a full ride scholarship and discovering it has one of the top HRTM programs. Cynthia met Daniel Mendez in her Calculus III class and he talked to her about the Phi Sigma Pi - Delta Iota chapter on campus. She was interested and decided to find out more information. After a successful initiation period, she was inducted in the Fall of 2008.
Collegiate Years at Delta Iota Chapter
In her first Active semester at Delta Iota, in the Spring of 2009, Cynthia is the Co-Chair along with Ben Stevenson for the Alumni Committee for the Spring 2009 semester. Since Cynthia has served as the Vice President and Recruitment Adviser and is credited for the successful Phi Class, which brought in 16 potentials; 8 of which achieved Brother status.
Cynthia graduated from New Mexico State University in May 2012 with a Bachelors in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management.
National Involvement
Cynthia hopes to attend the National Convention in Louisville, Kentucky in August 2009.
Alumni Years
Since graduating Cynthia has relocated to Brazil where she is working in the hotel industry. She plans on coming back to Delta Iota and meeting with the new Brothers.

Cynthia's Big Brother is Meghan Abalos, an Alumnus Brother of the Delta Iota Chapter.
Cynthia had two Littles:
