2. SOFO account meetings discussed
3. committee event reports are due within one week of the event - submit them on the BOW
4. please enter our regional consultant's (Brian Dolan) email address into you accepted addresses so you receive his emails - bdolan@phisigmapi.org
5. our regional consultant will be visiting next semester during induction - he needs a place to stay
6. feedback shared from last year's form 110
7. the eboard will act as devil's advocate during discussions and debate so both sides of an idea are discussed
8. send Susan your office hours
9. committees will be decided next week
10. special events committee will be suggested again tonight
11. new updated academic calendar link is on BOW
12. acaddemic event for oct 15 - speaker for building resumes
13. any committee event dates should be emailed to Lizzy to be sent to alumni
14. homecoming parade or soccer game for a rush event?

Delta Sigma Chapter Meeting
Monday, September 10, 2007

Meeting is called to order at 8:13 by President Lauren Snella.

3. Minutes from April 23, 2007 and August 27, 2007 were read and approved without objection
4. Officer Reports
   1. President
      • our regional consultant is coming for four days next semester - he needs a place to stay - possibly with Kasie?
      • eboard will be taking on the role of devil's advocate this semester in order to get both sides of a debate spoken
   2. Vice President
      • is the special events committee a good idea? - email Susan with your opinion
   3. Secretary
      • GPA reports are due next week - print out an unofficial transcript from cuconnect and WRITE YOUR NAME ON IT
      • a table will be posted on the BOW all semester with everyone's event progress
   4. Treasurer
      • dues of $80 are due next week
      • budgets need to be turned in by next Sunday
      • motion to approve money spent from budget to send Laura to Grand Chapter - passed
   5. ECA
      • petitions for local inactivity are due tonight
      • RayAnne needs to know about inactivity by next week
   6. Rush
      • sign up for flyers - check in with building offices before hanging them - hang posters too
      • sign up for pizza, soda, buff bulletins, or chalking
      • sign up for your rush tshirt size and color if you need one
      • chalking is tuesday 9/19 or sunday 9/23 at 6 pm - meet at the fountain
      • sign ups are also on the BOW
      • meeting next week is in chem 142 for info night practice - meetings are at the regular time
      • sophomores should check for the student ememo about info nights
   7. Parliamentarian
      • check out the revised bylaws and SOP on the BOW

   1. Fundraising
      • still don't know how much we made at Taste of CO yet
   2. Service
      • rush events: campus clean-up 9/30 at 11am sunday, and oct 7 is Race for the Cure
      • homeless shelter is the 3rd sunday of every month - if you haven't attended before but would like to, you need to attend a volunteer orientation on 9/22 or 10/6 from 1-4, and you must sign up tonight
   3. Social
      • any interest in going to see the Bourne Ultimatum thursday at 7?
   4. PR
      • candy will be given out for wearing your tshirts - tell Judd at meetings or in an email
      • table tents are finished for rush
   5. Awards and Scholarship
      • tie for brother of the week = Laura and Kate Scoggin
      • academic events are on the agenda and on the BOW calendar link
      • course and professor evaluations should be submitted electronically - turn in notes and exams to the office
6. Open Floor
   1. on 9/28 Across the Universe is coming out (musical movie) - social event?
   2. RayAnne is seeing Rilo Kiley tomorrow if you want to go with her
   3. Lauren is having a bday bbq on friday at 7
