1. Lauren needs to get sign in info for the national website
2. only 5 officers can go to the leadership banquet
3. four people are MIA for dues, we will notify them they are facing expulsion
4. poker night will be nov 9 or 10
5. form 110 forms will be posted on BOW tonight - they will be due the first week after Thanksgiving
6. budget should be approved tonight
7. setting up career services night on oct 15 at 7

Meeting is called to order at 8:11 by President Lauren Snella.

3. Minutes from September 17 read and approved without objection
4. Officer Reports
   1. President
      • we can only bring 5 to the leadership banquet - the 5 officers who didn't write -maybe- will get to go
   2. Vice President
      • officers need to complete officer hours because the UMC is checking now
   3. Secretary
      • still missing a few GPA reports - must be turned in ASAP
   4. Treasurer
      • budget will be approved tonight
   5. ECA
      • all brothers must make sure they have signed the risk management form
   6. Initiation
      • pinning is next week - eboard will meet at 7:30, chapter meeting will be afterward
      • brothers wear all black
      • see Carrie for your Race for the Cure tshirt
   7. Historian
      • working on a new rush video - upload any movies you have and email them to Eric
      • possible workshop for camera technology?
5. Committee Reports
   1. Fundraising
      • poker night will be nov 9 - $10 to play, winner gets 50% and the rest goes to the chapter
      • we can sell discount movie tickets for $8 each, would have to buy a pack of 50
   2. Service
      • Sunday is Race for the Cure - meet at table mesa park and ride at 7:30, bring $6 for the bus
      • oct 21 is the first dinner at the homeless shelter - you must fill out paperwork to volunteer, from 4-7
   3. Social
      • this Saturday we are painting pumpkins at RayAnne's house at 6, bring your own pumpkin
      • sign up for retreat (oct 20-21)
      • Across the Universe trip has been delayed until the movie is released
   4. Awards
      • many Atrains and BOW
   5. Alumni
      • email was sent to alumni to announce dates for pinning, retreat, and induction
6. Open Floor
   1. officer introductions for new prospectives
   2. we will tyedye shirts for Race for the Cure on Friday or Saturday
   3. any suggestions for lunch after the race?
   4. possible group trip to Elitches for Frightfest?
   5. Chocolate lecture is Oct 18 at 6pm at the CU museum
   6. academic rush event is at the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art (next to Dushanbe teahouse)
   7. career talk is going to be on oct 15 at 7 in normal meeting room

   1. Dara Perlow has resigned
   2. motion to approve this semester's budget - passed
