Daniel Mendez (born 16 August 1989) is an Active Member of Delta Iota Chapter at New Mexico State University.

Early Fraternity Life and Career
Daniel Mendez went to high school at Santa Fe High in Santa Fe, New Mexico and graduated in 2007. He came to NMSU because of scholarship money and their Aerospace Engineering program. He joined Phi Sigma Pi to get more involved and to meet new people. He also felt Phi Sigma Pi offered a good balance of social, leadership, and service activities. He was treasurer of his initiate class and was initiated in Fall 2008.
Collegiate Years at Delta Iota Chapter
In his first Active semester at Delta Iota Chapter, in the Spring of 2009, Daniel became the Scholarship & Awards Committee Co-Chair. Daniel served as the Initiate Adviser from August 2009 to May 2012. Daniel served as Chapter President from August 2010 to May 2012.
National Involvement
None so far, though he plans to attend WICKED and National Convention.

Daniel's Big Brother is Jaime Guerra (Alumnus) and currently residing in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
