David W. Johnson (born 21 October 1978) is an Alumnus of Alpha Rho Chapter (ΑΡ 452) at Virginia Tech.

Early Fraternity Life and Career

Dave enrolled at Virginia Tech in Fall 1997 after graduating from Chancellor High School in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Dave rushed Phi Sigma Pi as a freshman in Spring 1998 but did not receive a bid to become an initiate. He then rushed again in Fall 1998 and did receive a bid. After a successful Initiation period, he was Inducted into the Chapter with the Xi Initiate Class in November of that year.

Collegiate Years at Alpha Rho Chapter

Dave was active as an undergrad at Alpha Rho, serving in the offices of Initiation Chair and Interchapter Relations Chair in between semesters away from school co-oping. He also was well known for his tremendous sense of fellowship and his commitment to fundraising, often racking up more than twenty fundraising hours in a semester. For the 2001-2002 academic year, Dave served as the 12th President of Alpha Rho Chapter.

Alumni Years to Present

Upon graduation from Virginia Tech in May 2002, Dave moved to Tampa, Florida to work overseeing bridge and road construction projects in the area. In the spring of 2008, he moved to Alexandria, Virginia to oversee a bridge construction project.
