Body Farm Presentation

• Hosted By: Scholarships and Awards Chair: Carolyn Berthelot
• Date: 11/12/2010
• Location: 502b of the Lampasas Honors Building
• Attendees: 14 Active Brothers, 2 Initiates, and 2 Guests.
• Description: A Forensic Anthropology graduate student, Betsy Richards gave an approximately 30 minute long speech and allowed allowed 15 minutes for questions. She explained what Forensic Anthropology is, highlighted why it's important in society, and the potential her research could have on the world.
• Successful: Yes

Iniate Quiz Study Sessions

• Hosted by: Scholarships and Awards Chair: Carolyn Berthelot
• Date: Every Wednesday during the Initiate process
• Location: On Campus at the Alkek Library
• Attendees: 33 Active Brothers, 1 Alumni Brother, 23 Initiates
• Description: Active Brothers come together with Initiates and help prepare them for their Initiate quizzes. Initiates are able to study for their quiz, get interviews with brothers, and ask questions to Active Brothers
• Successful: Yes

All Shook Up

• Date: 11/17/10
• Location: Texas State University, Theater Building
• Attendees: 5 Active Brothers, 2 Initiates, 1 Guest
• Description: The members of Phi Sigma Pi Delta Phi Chapter were to get together and attend a play hosted at the school that was composed of 20 of Elvis's songs. It was not a play about Elvis's life it only used his songs to create a story.

Risk Management: Alcohol 101

• Location: Texas State University
• Attendees: 48 Active Brothers, and 1 Alumni
• Description: Speaker Ivan from the Student Health Center came and talked to the Delta Phi Chapter to help bring up Alcohol awareness and to clear up any myths about Alcohol. The speaker gave a speech about alcohol and allowed the audience to ask questions, while encouraging them to answer questions he presented.
