Daniel Tom George (born 01 Sep 1984) known professionally as DenG (pronounce Dench), is a Liberian West African Singer, Songwriter and Performer. Best known for his Hit Singles They Vex and Kemah. They Vex Granted DenG Four Awards, |Song of the year| and |Artist of the year| By both The Liberian Entertainment Awards and The Liberia Music Awards in year 2015.

Early Life

DenG is a Native of Bong County Liberia and a Descendent of the Kpelle Tribe. DenG is the eldest child of Pastor Henry F.K. George and Getrude C. George and has two younger sisters and a brother. At the tender age of ten DenG joined his church choir where he and his family realized his gift of singing. When the Liberian civil war erupted, DenG alongside his family migrated to neighboring country Ghana, where he was able to improve his talent by singing and performing for locals while attending the Achimota secondary boarding school. DenG later joined a singing group and wrote the majority of their recorded demos but later parted from the group due to unresolved differences. DenG later Travel Back to Liberia The Year of 2005 and Enrolled In The United Methodist University Studying Business Management and Accountant.

Music Career

DenG's first recognition into the lime light came from his collaboration with Liberian singer and songwriter Emma Smith titled I Want To Go. At this point in time DenG was known as an R&B Artist singing in the purist form of R&B, however studying The Liberian Music Industry, and analyzing its market he realized that his genre of music required change in order to become a hit maker and to gain recognition within every Liberian community worldwide.

The Year of 2013 DenG collaborated with Liberia’s Vice-President Son TanTan B and Liberia first female Hip-Co Rapper Queen V in the hit single of the year, Jue you bad produced by Bennie Ox. This song helped set DenG up as a Koloqua Music Artist and no longer an R&B Artist. DenG Later featured TanTan B once more in the hit single titled Eleh leh which he co-wrote. These two hit singles introduced DenG to The Liberian Market and the entertainment world. Few months later DenG featured America based Liberian rapper E-boy on another Hit single title African Woman which labeled him as a hit maker and helped him develop a larger fan base.

The Month of February 2014, along side his first and only manager Alice Yawo, DenG was able to release the biggest single of the year They Vex. This granted him a larger fans base from around the world such as United States Of America and Australia. They Vex earned him the status of " Best Artist" and "Best Hit Maker" alongside four Liberian Awards .

One Year after his release of They Vex and during the outbreak of Ebola in Liberia, DenG Released another Massive hit single titled Kemah which would rack him up over 300,000 views on youtube and grant him a nomination by the African Entertainment Awards USA. DenG Became The Liberian Artist to Ever Be nominated By An African Entertainment Awards As Best New Artist. Unfortunately he did not win the award as Nigerian singer and song writer Mc Galaxy Took the award home by winning the category.

Endorsement

On 07 February 2015, DenG Announed on his Facebook account that he had become the new ambassador for Novafone Liberia, a mobile phone company situated in The heart of Monrovia, Liberia. The one-year deal is allegedly worth 50,000USD), However DenG Being Very Secretively Never Commented on such amount.
