Elisabeth Garlington (born September 23, 1991)is an Active Collegiate Member of the Delta Kappa chapter at the University of North Texas. She rushed in spring 2011 with the Chi class, and currently serves as the Fundraising Chair.

Early Fraternity Life and Career
Elisabeth was born in Dallas, Tx. She grew up in a small town in the metroplex, where she was raised by her parents and loving grandmother. She has a younger brother, by seven years, who is very active in football and basketball. Having graduated school early from Zion Academy of America, Elisabeth went to UNT to pursue her BA in Anatomy and Health/Wellness at sixteen. She will be attending Parker University, Fall 2012, to pursue her high aspirations of becoming a chiropractor.
Hello, PSP!
Elisabeth never expected to join any social group, especially one with greek letters, in college. However, Elisabeth received the notorious information email from UNT and PSP. Seeing that it was a fraternity, she nearly deleted it immediately, but one word caught her eye-- Honor. After reading the letter, she decided she wanted to know more about it, so she read everything she could on the Phi Sigma Pi website. Elisabeth thought it seemed too good to be true! She wanted to surround herself with people who aren't just like her, but value the same things she does-- scholarship, leadership, and fellowship. She decided to go to a rush event, where Robert Maynard and a couple other brothers greeted her with a hearty welcome. Just after a few short minutes she knew this is where she wanted to be.

Interests
Elisabeth enjoys a variety of hobbies. She has been a student of Sam Moo Kwon Tae Kwon Do and Iss-Hogai Jujitsu, since she was seven and sixteen years of age (respectively), teacher since she obtained her blue belts, and a member of the Texas Tae Kwon Do Federation and Texas Martial Arts Federation since 2008. She is also very passionate about photography. She has been shooting professionally since 2009, enjoying capturing moments like graduation, weddings, families, sporting events, and concerts. When she is not in martial arts or doing photography, Elisabeth spends her time reading a variety of books, driving with the top down, and watching her favorite shows and movies, such as The Vampire Diaries, Whose Line is it Anyway?, The Hangover, Cinderella, and The Titanic.
