Eric became involved with Phi Sigma Pi upon transferring from Rochester Institute of Technology after his Freshman year. Eric was originally an introvert, having nearly committed suicide before coming to The Ohio State University. His goal was to meet as many people as possible and cure his introversion. Eric made many friends and eventually took upon a leadership role in the group. Eric was both Programming Chair & Co-Technology consultant during the 2005-2006 school year. During his tenure Eric brought many speakers and presentations to the Beta Iota chapter including Alcohol Awareness, STD Jeopardy, Woody with the Condom Club, and even a Buddhist Sect. This culminated in the Beta Iota Chapter winning the Eldo H. Hendrick's award for that year's programming. In his duties as technology consultant however, he was overwhelmed with other school duties, and did not have the time to fulfill his duties to his maximum ability. Eric has also held many other titles on campus such as the President of the Undergraduate Political Science Organization, Campaign Precinct Captain, Leader Endowment Fund Scholar, and Poetry finalist; but none of this would have been possible without the confidence and friendship gained from his initial membership in Phi Sigma Pi. Eric hopes that he will be remembered as somebody who left the chapter a little bit better than he found it, and hopes to continue serving people any way he can in the private sector. Go Bucks!
