Biography

Suneth Namal Karunarathna received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering (2007) from Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. Then he joined Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) as Network Operation and Management engineering for island-wide IP/MPLS networks. Suneth Namal obtained his M.Eng in the field of "Information and Communication Technologies" from Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand. He received M.Sc. degree in "Wireless Networks and Multimedia Services" from Telecom SudParis, France. He was a research engineer in RS2M lab (Telecom SudParis) in 2010. Suneth Namal received Ph.D. (2011-2014) from the Department of Communication Engineering, University of Oulu, Finland. He was a research scientist of Centre for Wireless Communications (CWC), Finland, In 2013-2014, Suneth Namal was a project manager at Centre for Wireless Communications (CWC). Currently, Dr. Suneth Namal is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Computer Engineering (2015), Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. He is supervising couple of MPhil students. He is a member of IEEE and published several research papers in IEEE. Dr. Suneth Namal is a author of one book and a co-author other of two books.
