J. V. L. Morris (born DD MMM YYYY) is an Alumni Member of Xi Chapter (Chapter roll #) at Northwest Oklahoma State University.
Dr. Morris was a native of New York State and attended Hamilton College. He received an A.B. (Bachelor of Arts) degree from Harvard University in 1909, and a Ph.D. from the Teachers College, Columbia University in 1921.
Dr. Morris was the head of the Department of Education at State Teachers College, Alva, Oklahoma, (now known as Northwest Oklahoma State University) from 1923 until at least 1933. He also served as the Chapter Sponser of Xi Chapter.
