Jackie Porreca (born 9 March 1984) is an Alumni Member of Alpha Lambda Chapter (ΑΛ 350) at Temple University.

Early Fraternity Life and Career
When Jackie started at Temple, she roomed with her best friend. She wanted to meet other students, but knew that a sorority was not her thing. She attended Phi Sigma Rush events her first semester of college, but was informed that even though she had AP transfer credits, she was ineligible because she did not have a college GPA. She tried again during the spring semester and became an initiate of the Alpha Gamma Class.
Collegiate Years at Alpha Lambda Chapter
During her first semester as an active brother, Jackie learned about the Regional Committee Program and enthusiastically accepted the position as Alpha Lambda’s Representative. She held this position for two years and helped plan the East Region’s Conference—SSIP (Scholarship and Service in Philadelphia).
Jackie held the positions of Secretary and the Co-Chair of the Alumni and Bylaws Committees. She was also Phi Sigma Pi’s Temple Student Government Representative for a semester.
Alumni Years to Present
Since graduating from Temple in May 2006, Jackie has tried to remain involved by attending Fraternity events such as: ΑΛ’s chapter meetings, ΑΛ and ΓΞ’s Philly Cup soccer tournament, as well as Formals. She has also joined her local alumni chapter-DVAC, where she has held the positions of President, Vice President, and has been their Grand Chapter delegate.
In 2008, Jackie was involved in starting up the Epsilon Tau Chapter at Villanova University. She was very excited to see them receive their charter at the 2009 National Convention.
Jackie has been the Alumni Advisor for Alpha Lambda since 2009 and was thrilled to be able to accept their Torchia with them in 2010.

Jackie’s first National Event was National Convention in 2003 which was held in Charlotte, NC. She had so much fun meeting brothers from across the country, she has continued going to the Grand Chapters and Conventions.

Family Tree
Jackie’s Big Brother is Ashlee Janiszewski, who is now an alumna. When Jackie was inducted, she and Ashlee were the only members of her family. Jackie wanted to have a huge family, so she had three littles (Jackie O, Jennie, and Julie).
As the chapter grew and changed, families spit and merged. Jackie's line is now in the following families:

One of the reasons she rushed Phi Sigma Pi was because the chapter mascot was the same as her elementary school mascot.
