Jason Ciapponi (born June 16th, 1994) is a Collegiate Member of Tau Chapter (1848) at East Carolina University. Jason was inducted as part of the Gamma Theta Initiate Class.

Early Fraternity Life and Career
Jason decided to attend ECU after touring there his sophomore year of high school at his sister's orientation. He fell in love with the campus and the well known medical programs offered there. After a couple of major changes, he finally decided on a path that involved a Public Health major with a dual minor in Nutrition and Biology with the ultimate goal of becoming a Physician's Assistant.
Collegiate Years at Tau Chapter
Jason served as part of the Alumni Relations Committee his first semester as a brother in Phi Sigma Pi. He loved planning and being a part of alumni events such as an alumni football tailgate in the fall. Jason then went on to be a part of the Social Committee for the 2014-2015 school year. He loved the Social Committee for its goal of bringing the fraternity closer together through events that focused on fellowship. Jason was then elected as Tau Chapter's 80th Historian for the 2015-2016 school year!

Jason's Big Brother is Margaret LeGrand (ΓΔ), who is now an alumnus.
Jason has one amazing little Tionne Allen!! She is part of the Gamma Kappa Initiate Class.
