Jeffrey S. Owen (born 9 October) is an Alumnus of Alpha Rho Chapter (ΑΡ 376) at Virginia Tech. He is a current member of the Alpha Rho Alumni Advisory Board.

Early Fraternity Life and Career

Jeff enrolled at Virginia Tech in Fall 1995 after graduating from Lloyd C. Bird High School in Chesterfield, Virginia. He rushed Phi Sigma Pi in spring of his freshman year. After a successful Initiation period, he was Inducted into the Chapter with the Iota Initiate Class in April of that year.

Collegiate Years at Alpha Rho Chapter

Jeff was a very active member of Alpha Rho throughout his time as an undergraduate. He served as Vice President Internal before becoming the ninth President of Alpha Rho Chapter. He then completed his time as an undergraduate with a year as a valuable committee member and respected voice in the brotherhood.

Alumni Years to Present

After graduating from Virginia Tech in May 2000, Jeff moved to northern Virginia and began working for Accenture in Washington, DC as a technology and management consultant. He currently resides in Arlington, Virginia and continues to work for Accenture.

Jeff has remained active with Alpha Rho following graduation, making frequent trips to Blacksburg for football games and participating in the Alpha Rho Alumni Buddy program. Following the April 16th tragedy at Virginia Tech, Jeff paired with his brother Mike to provide the initial donation to the Alpha Rho Chapter Endowment Fund and now serves on the Board of Trustees for the fund. At the 2008 Alumni Weekend, he was honored for his participation as an Alumnus with the Loren P. Johnson Outstanding Alumni Award and was elected to a two year term on the Alpha Rho Alumni Advisory Board.

On June 6, 2009, Jeff was married to the former Lindsay Tuchtan in a ceremony in the Georgetown section of Washington, DC.
