He entered Eastern Kentucky University as a transfer in the fall 2003. After a series of personal traumas, Josh decided to leave the University. Over the next few years, he worked on recovery and refocusing his energy; and re-enrolled at Eastern with a conditional admittance in the fall of 2010. That semester he achieved a 4.0 GPA and continued to maintain strong academic success.
