I am an El. Ed Early Childhood major which keeps me pretty busy.  Sadly next semester will be my last and I really do not want to even think about that. Phi Sigma Pi has become my second family and I could not imagine college life without.  Many of these people have become my best friends and I will never regret joining this organization.

Early Fraternity Life and Career

Julie Schweinfurth decided to attend Kutztown University and began attending fall of 2006. In the fall of 2007 I received a letter in the mail to join Phi Sigma Pi. So I checked it out, and it has been the best experience of my college life. I was the fundraising chair for the amazing Kappa Class. We sold soft pretzels and hot cider, which was pretty awesome. I love my kappa's we all became so close and were like a second family.

Collegiate Years at Epsilon Alpha Chapter

My first semester in Phi Sigma Pi I was put on the brand new Web PR committee with my Grand Big Heather. In fall of 2008 I was nominated and voted to be our new Regional Delegate which was quite an honor for me to be an officer. After that in the Spring of 2009 I became the chapters Vice President which I could not have been more excited about.

National Involvement

  • Delta Chi Kickball Tournament Lehigh University

Bigs and Littles

Julie's big is Jane Fritz, who is a member of the 2009 graduating class of Kutztown University. She has been on the rush committee since being inducted and is now Nationally inactive for student teaching.

Her first little was Nick Christy. He was a member of the Lambda class in the Spring of 2008. He currently holds the position of Parliamentarian and is the Web Pr chair. Before that he held the scholarship chair position.

Her newest little is Jen Valentino. She is an initiate of the Nu Class. Jen is the Service chair for her initiate class.
