Katherine Gillenwater is a Collegiate Member of the Beta Phi Chapter at Western Kentucky University.

Early Fraternity Life and Career

Katie was inducted into the fraternity with Beta Phi's Alpha Nu Initiate class in the Fall of 2013. She was recruited by her long-time friend and roommate Whitney Davis, an active Brother, and knew many other Brothers upon her initiation. Katie became a Big Brother during her first active semester in Spring 2014, and she served on the ICR and Risk Management committees.

Collegiate Years at Beta Phi

During her time with Beta Phi, Katie has participated in many of the Chapter's events, including ICR. She attended the 2014 Bluegrass Regional Conference and participated in a Super Hero 5K hosted by Vanderbilt's Chapter in Nashville, TN in Spring 2014. She is interested in being Beta Phi's Historian in the future.

Katie's hobbies and interests include anything outdoors. She enjoys drinking coffee and works at a coffee shop on campus. She also enjoys reading and crafting. Her travel experiences include Ireland, England, France, Monaco, and Italy.
