Katie Burggraf (born 5 April 1989) is an Active Member of the Beta Mu Chapter at The George Washington University. She was inducted December 5, 2009 in the Alpha Eta class.

Early Fraternity Life and Career

Katie decided to attend the George Washington University after graduating Cum Laude from Groton School located in Groton, Massachusetts. She is currently in a five-year masters program in the School of Public Health and Health Services and is planning on graduating in May of 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and receiving her Master of Public Health in Epidemiology the following year. Katie joined Phi Sigma Pi because she wanted to have a "family" at GWU and a group of friends that share the same interests and values.

Katie Burggraf is originally from Belmont, Massachusetts but spent most of her life growing up in Kennebunkport, Maine where she currently lives while not at school in D.C., however she frequents the Boston area often and spent her high-school years at a boarding school in Groton, Massachusetts. Katie loves living in D.C., where she constantly spends time outdoors and exploring the city. She hopes to move back to New England after school and possibly attend medical school. He main interests lie in the realm of infectious diseases and she enjoys studying the environmental impact of water on disease.
