Katie VanSkiver (born 12/10/1987) is an Alumni Member of Gamma Beta (311) at Morehead State University and founding member of SLAA.

Early Fraternity Life and Career

Katie VanSkiver decided to attend Morehead State because it was relatively close to home (Ohio) while still far enough away to be independent from the parents and Morehead also had a great geography program. Katie joined Phi Sigma Pi in the spring of '08 because she wanted to be more involved on campus while still being involved in helping the local community.

Katie served as the Alumni Relations Chair for Gamma Beta the spring '09 semester.

Alumni Years to Present

Katie is currently attending LSU after transferring from Morehead State University. Katie decided to take Alumni status though still working towards an undergraduate degree at LSU. In the fall of 2010, Katie became a founding member of SLAA

National Involvement

• Katie VanSkiver was a corp member of the 2010 Alternative Break Project!
• Roadtrips- Katie is very active when it comes to PSP roadtrips! Katie, along with Michelle Fiore and Sarah Emeterio were key players in helping Gamma Beta win the Most Traveled Chapter award at National Convention in 2009.
