Kayla Simmerman (born 13 May 1988) is an Active Member of Beta Chapter (Β 664) at Truman State University.

Early Fraternity Life and Career

Kayla graduated from Moberly Senior High School in 2006. She decided to attend Truman State University during her junior year of high school. She was a member of Upward Bound which helped her apply to and prepare for college life. This program was hosted on Truman's campus and she feel in love with its campus thus making her decision to go there easy. She started out as a chemistry major but after one 3 hour lab she knew it wasn't for her. She then switched to Psychology which she has stayed with since. Fall of her sophomore year she was accepted into the McNair program which is helping her prepare for graduate school and research. Spring of her sophomore year she was accepted into the Omega initiate class of Beta chapter of Phi Sigma Pi.

Collegiate Years at Sample Chapter

Kayla has not held any offices in PSP but served on the fellowship committee during her first active semester for which she hosted a movie night showing of SAW. She then served on the fundraising committee during her second active semester for which she organized the annual Pasta Dinner which is usually a good fundraiser for Beta chapter. As for any special talent she is known for...she is known best at Beta chapter for being the shortest active member and she doesn't think she will have trouble keeping that title.
