Lauren enrolled at Virginia Tech in Fall 2005 after graduating from Kenston High School in Bainbridge, Ohio. As a freshman, she rushed Phi Sigma Pi in Spring 2006. Lauren received a bid, and after a successful Initiation period, she was Inducted into the Chapter with the Alpha Epsilon Initiate Class in April of that year.

Lauren served on the Executive Board in the position of Alumni Development for the 2008-2009 academic year.
