Lisa Thalhamer (born 8 May 1986) is an Alumna of Beta Epsilon Chapter (ΒΕ 470) at Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York. She currently works as a television news producer in Auburn, Maine.

Early Fraternity Life and Career

Lisa was inducted into the Beta Epsilon chapter at Syracuse University in April of 2006 as one of ten members of the Alpha Gamma class. Her big brother is Pamela Sheppard. She joined Phi Sigma Pi during her sophomore year at Syracuse, after coming to SU from West Chester, PA, to study broadcast journalism.

Collegiate Years in Beta Epsilon Chapter

During fall 2006, her first semester as an active brother, Lisa served as Historian and also as chair of the scholarship committee. As Historian, she was responsible for updating chapter records after the chapter had gone without a historian for a semester. As a member of the fall 2006 Executive Board, Lisa was part of the decision to propose that the chapter switch its executive board terms from calendar year to academic year.

After spending spring of 2007 abroad in Madrid, Spain, Lisa was elected President of the Beta Epsilon Chapter for the 2007-2008 academic year. During that year, Beta Epsilon hosted the Northeast Regional Conference (NERC) and was awarded Best Chapter in the Northeast Region at the 2008 Grand Chapter meeting. She also served as Chapter Delegate for Beta Epsilon to the 2007 Grand Chapter meeting.
