List of Zeta Iota Chapter Inter-Chapter Relations Events

This page is dedicated to all the Inter-Chapter Relations events Zeta Iota has ever had. Inter-Chapter Relations events are planned by the Inter-Chapter Relations Chair and the Inter-Chapter Relations committee.

2012 Spring

Kotatsu

• 16 March 2012, 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
• Ardmore, PA

Brothers got to enjoy dinner with the Epsilon Tau Chapter at the restaurant Kotatsu. Brothers got to meet lots of brothers from Villanova. This event also counted as a social event.

Jewish Relief Agency

• 18 March 2012, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• Jewish Relief Agency Warehouse

Brothers meet with other chapters in the region and packed meals for senior citizens. They also got to deliver food afterwards. It was great that brothers got to give back to the community. Afterwards, the brothers got lunch with Brothers from Alpha Eta. This event also counted as a service event.

Bowling

• 20 April 2012, 12:00 a.m. to 2:30 a.m.
• Wynnewood Lanes Ardmore, PA

Brothers got with the brothers from the Epsilon Tau Chapter and went bowling. It was a fun event that allowed for a lot of bonding. This event also counted as a social event.

2012 Fall

Peace of Pizza

• 13 September 2012, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Brothers got to enjoy a meal at the restaurant Peace of Pizza. There was also a Social/ICR where Brothers got together with the Epsilon Tau Chapter and shared a meal together. This event also counted as a social and fundraising event.

Diabetes Walk

• 28 October 2012, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m
• Philadelphia Art Museum

Brothers raised over $11,000 for the diabetes walk. Brothers had to raise $10 or participate in the walk. Brothers from the Gamma Xi Chapter also participated in the walk. This event also counted as service event.

Philly Cup

• 1 November 2012, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Temple University

Brothers participated in a Soccer tournament hosted by Alpha Lambda and Gamma Xi. Our chapter’s team came in 3rd. Afterwards there was a dinner cruise where all the brothers got to celebrate with all the other chapters there. The tournament helped the Autism Cares Foundation. This event also counted as a service and scholarship event.

Philly Marathon

• 17 November 2012, 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
• Philadelphia Expo Center

Brothers signed up to participate in the Philly Marathon. Brothers also ran it with brothers from the Alpha Eta Chapter. This event also counted as service and social event.

2013 Spring

2013 Fall

Zumba

• 29 September 2013, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Villanova University

Brothers spent an afternoon doing Zumba with other brothers at Epsilon Tau Chapter.

Philly Cup

• 8 November 2013, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Temple University

Hunger Games

• 15 November 2013 and 16 November 2013
• Villanova University

Brothers from several chapters were offered up as tributes. They stood in a circle and then split. They each had two lives. To get someone out you had to tap them on the chest and you had to wait at least a full minute before tapping the same person. Before that big event, they did self-defense lessons as training and then had lunch. The last two left played rock paper scissors to decide who won.
